PowderPlus Finish doesn't absorb chemicals and provides a reasonably priced paint solution for original equipment manufacturers and specifying engineers seeking a stainless steel appearance throughout plant operations, without the stainless steel price.
PowderPlus Finish is FDA approved for incidental food contact in primary and secondary packaging areas where stainless steel enclosures are not required.
"We've monitored trends in the packaging industry and believe the PowderPlus Finish provides an ideal solution to address manufacturers' concerns," noted Mark Saunders, Hoffman Product Manager: "By incorporating PowderPlus in the Hoffman Modification Services programme, our customers can easily obtain an equipment protection solution that meets their requirements in a very cost-effective manner".
Having PowderPlus applied through the Modification Services saves manufacturers the time and expense of painting enclosures themselves or outsourcing.
It is also applied after enclosure holes and cutouts are made, eliminating raw metal edges and providing greater corrosion resistance against moisture in washdown and/or wipedown environments.
Specially formulated for uniform and consistent application, PowderPlus coated enclosures can be installed in existing applications next to equipment with other stainless steel-impregnated coatings without having to be repainted.
With Hoffman Modification Services, many standard enclosures can be modified to suit specific requirements.
Customers may select from more than 100 standard paint finishes, change dimensions and easily add holes, cutouts, window kits, louvers and thermal management systems.
