Hardy Instruments provided a giant industrial-size (6 foot by 6 foot) scale on site to measure the weight of the donations as they came in.

Over 14 hours, Clear Channel San Diego collected an estimated $275,000, and over 7200 pounds of coins.

Hardy Instruments and its sister company, Dynamic Instruments, managed to raise almost $4000 in employee donations and matching company funds in less than 24 hours.
