New director of sales and marketing -

Hardy Instruments is pleased to announce that Al Fitzpatrick has been appointed to the new position of Director of Sales and Marketing - North America for Hardy Instruments and Metrix Instrument Co
Al will have a key role in expanding North American business and developing new growth opportunities He will also supervise the company Regional Managers and Customer Service groups for Hardy and Metrix in North America

Al has over 20 years of experience in the sales, marketing, customer service and logistics arena.
In his previous position at Toshiba International, he designed a new sales and marketing model by forming self-contained regional teams.
This new process helped grow the business by 28%.
At Fuji Heavy Industries, he designed and implemented a customer feedback process, which provided input into the sales and marketing programmes and a direction for new products and accessories.
Al will be based in Houston, Texas, and will report directly to Lynn Murdock, Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Metrix, Hardy and Dynamic Instruments.
"The experience that Al brings will help both Hardy and Metrix to become more connected to our valued customers and their applications," said Murdock.
Hardy Instruments and Metrix Instrument Co are both subsidiaries of Roper Industries, a USD2.1 billion diversified provider of engineered products in analytical instrumentation, industrial controls and fluid handling.
