A Hayward Tyler product story
Edited by the Processingtalk editorial team Oct 31, 2008

Hayward Tyler has announced that it has delivered three 2,500kW subsea motors to Aker Kvaerner Subsea to drive its seawater injection pumps on the StatoilHydro Tyrihans project in the Norwegian Sea.

The motors have been developed in close cooperation with Aker Solutions.

The qualified Hayward Tyler design for the 2,500 kW variable speed super synchronous motor will operate at speeds ranging from 2,500 to 4,000 rpm.

The subsea motors will have increased insulation (11 kV) to accommodate the electrical challenges.
