Some of the parameters that seal-less pumps can now accommodate include temperatures between minus 100C and plus 450C / 840F, flow rates up to 1500m3/hour / 6600 USGPM, differential heads up to 350m / 1140ft and pressure values to 185 Bar / 2600 PSI.
In addition, magnetic drive pumps from HMD Kontro can also accommodate solids up to 5%, with a particle size of 150 microns, up to 8% and 250 microns with a discharge strainer, and their GSP range has full compliance with API685 / API610 for use in the strenuous conditions of the oil and gas industry.
As originators of the seal-less pump concept, some sixty years ago this year, HMD Kontro have significant experience and expertise in the use of magnetic drive technology.
As a result, the Company can now supply pumps from simple, standard units for many process systems through to much more complex, bespoke and engineered solutions, suitable for high pressure and high tech applications.
Whilst not all of the parameters can be met simultaneously, HMD Kontro has a comprehensive standard range that will suit most process applications.
However, where appropriate, the Company can also adapt and modify these pumps to meet particular requirements.
