HUCO introduces air motors to the world
market

The Dynatork motor defies the notion that air motors have to be fast, loud and inefficient: the unique design provides high torque at low speed, low air pressure, low volume and low noise

The Dynatork motor defies the notion that air motors have to be fast, loud and inefficient Its unique design provides high torque at low speed, low air pressure, low volume and low noise

This product has found favour in a broad range of applications but its market is currently largely focused in the UK.

It is the potential to introduce the merits of Dynatork to a much wider audience via its own established worldwide distribution network that has prompted HUCO to acquire Dynatork.

The purchase was finalised on 1st August 2005.

The Dynatork range will be marketed internationally alongside the HUCO comprehensive range of miniature couplings and ancillary power transmission products.

Seven product groups complete the Dynatork range offering maximum torques from 2Nm to 550Nm.

The range comprises air motors in aluminium, acetal and cast iron, spur gear motors, worm gear motors, planetary gear motors and electronically controlled pneumatic stepper motors.

Specifically designed for operation in harsh and hazardous environments, Dynatork air motors excel in constant start/stop applications under load with similar characteristics to those of a stepper motor.

When subjected to these conditions an electric motor will often burn out; and a vane motor will stall out.

Reverse operation is achieved by using 5-port control valves, giving near instant response even under load.

Air consumption of a Dynatork air motor is minimal, up to 80% less than vane motors, providing significant cost savings even at maximum torque.

Free-floating pistons transmit maximum torque on start-up which can be adjusted via a pressure regulator.

These products offer a viable alternative to electrical variable speed drives.

They are characterised by their simple control - speed is adjusted to fine limits by restrictors on the exhaust ports.

Pulse counters can be specified to programme direction of rotation, speed and number of revolutions.

Dynatork motors have a proven track record that spans 30 years.

They are used in an exceptionally wide range of industries and in a vast variety of applications, giving reliability and minimal maintenance.

Now, thanks to the HUCO involvement, this essentially British design is now set for international acclaim. Request a free brochure from Huco Dynatork ...
