Reduced costs for trailing shields

A Huntingdon Fusion Techniques product story
Edited by the Processingtalk editorial team Mar 14, 2007

Huntingdon Fusion Techniques has invested in advanced tooling for use in the manufacture of trailing shields for stainless steel welding, and offers the shields at lower prices for welding customers

Following a thorough examination of manufacturing costs, Huntingdon Fusion Techniques (HFT) has invested in advanced tooling for use in the manufacture of trailing shields and is now able to pass these savings on to its customers.

The expected savings will be significant and will thus encourage and extend the use of trailing shields, which are already in widespread use throughout the world to protect stainless steel during welding.

Now many applications previously considered uneconomic will become viable.

The product range includes shields for flat and circular applications.

A range of data sheets is available on request from HFT.
