Expandable nylon pipe plugs from Huntingdon Fusion Techniques are now available to seal any tube over the entire diameter range from 12 to 162 mm
With the increasing ranges of tubes and pipes and the variation of materials, effective sealing some of the diameters has been beyond conventional plug sizes The introduction of additional 'between size' diameters in the 12 to 115 mm range now completes a comprehensive portfolio which can be used with confidence in a very wide range of end-user industries, but in particular in the building sector where they are extensively used for drain plugging prior to undertaking sealing tests
Pipestopper plugs are manufactured from Nylon 6, an engineering plastic which combines impressive resistance to corrosion with high mechanical strength.
The sealing rings are expanded easily using a screw mechanism and can be supplied in silicone, nitrile, Viton or natural rubber depending on the specific application.
