Edited by the Processingtalk editorial team Sep 10, 2007

Huntingdon Fusion Techniques has witnessed continued sales growth in weld purging systems at the massive Milford Haven gas import terminal where a wide range of processing pipework is being fabricated

The fabrication teams at the site have been boosted recently by specialist welders provided by manpower services company Global Resources Group through its subsidiary Global Pipelines, a specialist UK-based welding and fabrication company servicing the processing industries.

HFT previous success at the site came to the attention of the Global Resources staff who asked for technical support from HFT on the selection of welding accessories.

A team of specialists visited Milford Haven and demonstrated the HFT purging system portfolio to senior welding engineers involved in process fabrication.

Following the demonstrations Global placed orders for 500, 600 and 750 mm diameter Quick-Purge systems and for 500, 600 and 750 mm diameter inflatable stoppers together with inflating pumps.
