Additional cutting edge adhesive developments on show will include Araldite 2000 Plus, a new portfolio of structural adhesives that can bring complex plastic and metal-based design projects to life.
Plus, Araldite Do-It-Yourself (DIY) adhesives - which are being distributed to Eastern European consumers through a new, exclusive partnership with Polish company, Soudal.
Finally, a range of compliant coating technologies - designed to accommodate current and future environmental regulations in terms of VOC (volatile organic compound) - for the coatings industry will also be highlighted.
Huntsman Polyurethanes - pioneers in the development of MDI technology - will showcase its extensive range of Suprasec prepolymers for spray coating applications.
These complement the Jeffamine amine and Jefflink amine extenders for Polyurea coating demonstrated at the event by Huntsman Performance Products.
The Polyurethanes team will also use the event to demonstrate further advances in its continuous panel laminating (cPL) system, including a next generation range of adhesives.
Based on a Suprasec MDI and Daltofoam formulated polyol blend, the new adhesive system can improve production times Plus enhance the performance of sandwich boards by providing greater flexibility, thermal adaptability and higher bonding strength.
Huntsman Polyurethanes will be present at Khimia alongside its partner North Masters Group (NMG Policom), a leading Russian producer of polymer compositions.
Working together for almost ten years, the two organisations recently announced the creation of ZAO Huntsman-NMG Policom - a joint venture that manufactures and markets polyurethane systems to various industries including the coatings and insulation markets in Russia and other areas in the former Soviet Union.
Technical specialists from Huntsman Performance Products will use Khimia to promote a unique range of Jeffcat polyurethane catalysts.
This growing range is being successful applied in applications including polyether and polyester foams, coatings, elastomers and high-modulus urethane plastics.
The Performance Products team will also showcase a range of curing agents for epoxy resins.
Based on the division's established Jeffamine technology, these Poly-oxyalkylene-amines provide formulators with enhanced properties, often unobtainable with other curing agents: for example, flexible backbone, high toughness, low viscosity and controllable reactivity.
The division will also highlight polyurea spray coatings based on isocyanate components and amine blends.
As part of the event, Huntsman will also be presenting a range of technical presentations from the exhibiting divisions which will cover the extensive range of technologies on display at the Huntsman stand.
At Khimia 2007 Huntsman will be exhibiting on Stand 22D36, Hall 2, Pav 2.
