The HART Communication Foundation has released a new, revised edition of the 'HART Field Communications Protocol - A Technical Overview'
Originally referred to as the "Blue Book", by Romilly Bowden, the recently updated manual is a technical introduction and integrators guide that describes and explains the main features of the HART Protocol.
"The manual provides technical details of the HART Protocol in a user-friendly format that will help users and system integrators understand the features and benefits of the technology," says Ed Ladd, HCF Director of Technology Programmes: "It is an excellent reference manual for anyone who wants to know more about HART technology without delving into the full 2500-page Protocol Specification".
