Hawke International Fieldbus Division are delighted to announce a large order for Hawke's Trunkguard fieldbus device couplers to be used on the BP Plutonio project Weir Westgarth (Glasgow) are providing the water treatment modules for this FPSO, using Profibus as their standard control systems technology
The Hawke device couplers are being used to connect, terminate and protect the Profibus-PA devices throughout the package.
Critical to Hawke's success in this application were the revolutionary E-Z LID Exe stainless steel enclosures with vertically-opening lid providing fast and effortless access for internal wiring, and the latest Hawke Universal glands which provide superior performance for offshore duty, completely eliminating cold-flow damage, an unfortunate characteristic of modern LSZH cable bedding materials.
