The Viscolite 700 from Hydramotion gives instant spot measurement of viscosity in the field, factory or lab without requiring any on-site set-up or calibration.

The Hydramotion Viscolite 700 is the ideal instrument for making spot measurements of viscosity in the field, factory or lab, and complements the company's well-established XL Series of on-line process viscometers.

The Viscolite portable viscometer can be used with any volume of fluid, from a cupful to a tank, with no need for on-site set-up, adjustment or calibration.

Powered by four AA batteries, it is lightweight and easily portable, making possible the quick testing of any fluid in situ.

The Viscolite consists of a hand-held immersion sensor connected by a flexible coil lead to a digital display unit ingress protected to IP65.

Instant readings mean that samples or batches can be dealt with easily and rapidly.

The sensor is simply immersed in the fluid under test and the viscosity is shown on the display unit.

An optional platinum resistance thermometer (PRT) automatically corrects the measured viscosity to a reference temperature.

A standard model Viscolite has an all-316L stainless steel sensor and covers a viscosity range of 0 to 10,000 cP and can operate in the temperature range - 50 to +150C.

As the instrument is highly immune to exterior vibration it can be used with confidence in the noisiest environments.

Maintenance requirements are minimal as the Viscolite has no seals, bearings or moving parts to wear out.

A Certificate of Calibration and Conformity is shipped with each Viscolite, which is supplied in its own robust carrying case.
