Chris Williams appointed as COO of Hydro
Intl.
Hydro International has made further progress in expanding its innovative water control and treatment business in international markets with the appointment of Chris Williams as COO
In this role Chris Williams will oversee the European and USA based business divisions Chief Executive Officer Steve Hides said: "Creating the new position of COO is in response to the Hydro International expansion in recent years and the need to maintain the continuous improvement of our core operating units, whilst we identify and develop other opportunities to accelerate our overall rate of growth"

With Chris Williams in day-to-day control of the European and USA business, Steve Hides will focus on the strategic growth of the business and, in particular, on the Hydro plans for export expansion and business acquisitions.
Chris was previously Managing Director of Hydro International (EU) and a main board director of Hydro International.
Chris has more than 20 years of experience in the civil engineering and water sector and is a member of the government's Water Sector Advisory Group which is made up of key industry professionals to advise government on an international strategy for the water sector.
He is a board member of British Water, the trade association representing the water industry supply chain.
He was responsible for establishing the Sustainable Drainage (SUDS) Group within British Water to act as a voice for the industry within SUDS development.
Chris is currently chairman of the UK Rainwater Harvesting Association.
He is also an executive committee member of Aqua Europa, the Pan European water trade association.
