This is a symposium entitled "Control and Automation in the Communications Era" and is scheduled for 16th September 2003 at the Irchem Exhibition - Ireland's biennial chemical, pharmaceutical and food industries exposition in Cork.

It is a unique opportunity to compare the offerings of some of the world leaders in automation (ABB, Emerson, Honeywell and Siemens) in meeting the challenges of the 21st century.

The meeting will be chaired by Andrew Bond, one of the leading journalists in instrumentation and control on this side of the Atlantic.
