Glen Bates of Rockwell Automation will present a lecture entitled 'PLC/SCADA Developments' on Tuesday 12th Oct 2004 at 1730 for 1800 The lecture abstract is as follows

The term Programmable Automation Controllers (PACs) is now often used to describe the latest PLC type products.

The change in name reflects the need to highlight the product enhancements that have changed the use and application of these versatile automation products.

This presentation looks at the Allen-Bradley Logix range of controllers from Rockwell Automation.

It details many of the new features that provide a single architecture for discrete, process, motion and drive applications.

In addition to a hardware overview, Rockwell Software SCADA developments will be covered to show configurations and the easy of integration.
