Integrated Hydraulics have further extended their range of 2 way bi-directional poppet valves with the introduction of a new 90 litre valve

Designated S716, this new valve is normally open and when energised will close, preventing flow in either direction An actuator controlled by this valve will be locked in position despite varying induced loads or changes in system pressure

The simple poppet design of the S716 and its sharp edged seat, coupled with closely controlled roundness and surface finish, ensure consistency of quality, giving minimal internal leakage - less than 2.7cm3/min at a 280 bar pressure differential.

All moving parts are hardened and ground, and internal bearing surfaces honed.

Despite the close working clearances, these valves are remarkably tolerant of contamination because the fluid washes over the seat, clearing it each time the valve is de-energised.

This new cartridge valve is designed for working pressures up to 280bar and has a nominal flow rate of 90L/min.

It is of two-stage design with a small poppet, controlled by the solenoid, venting the main poppet.

This arrangement offers fast, accurate operation and permits the use of coils from the standard Integrated Hydraulics series 2 valves.

12 and 24Vdc and 110 and 220Vac coils are available with DIN 43650, Deutsch moulded and flying lead connectors.

Bodies are available for line mounting, but, the full benefits of this technology will only be realised if the cartridges are incorporated into a manifold (or Hydraulic Integrated Circuit).

The S716 is designed to work in harmony with the other Integrated Hydraulics solenoid operated directional valves and their range of flow, pressure and motion control valves.
