IDC Technologies is presenting a workshop on practical power system harmonics, earthing and power quality for engineers and technicians in cities around the UK and Ireland in April 2005 Specific venues will be: London on the 7th and 8th; Manchester on the 11th and 12th; Liverpool on the 14th and 15th; Dublin on the 18th and 19th and in Cork on the 21st and 22nd
This workshop commences with a review of the fundamentals of power system harmonics and EMC and then examines the procedures for design and installation for earthing and neutral systems.
Power harmonics, quality, earthing, surges and noise for electrical and electronic systems are detailed over the two days.
Finally, case studies covering a wide variety of industries, ranging from manufacturing and process control to telecommunications, are to be presented.
