Practical Control Valve Sizing UK training courses
IDC Technologies is running a 2 day workshop on 'Practical Control Valve Sizing, Selection and Maintenance' in Glasgow 1-2 March, in Manchester 5-6 March and in London 8-9 March
The workshop aims to provide to engineers and technicians the skills to Identify, prevent and troubleshoot industrial communications problems.
By course end attendees should be capable of analysing, diagnosing and fixing 60 of the most common problems that occur in industrial communication systems.
These systems include RS-232, RS-485, Fibre-optic, Fieldbus and Ethernet.
This workshop information has been gleaned from experienced engineers who have 'worked in the trenches'.
The second workshop, also a 2 day one, is Practical Fundamentals of OPC (OLE for Process Control) and is to run in Edinburgh on the 13th and 14th February, in Manchester on the 23rd and 24th and in Cardiff on the 27th and 28th.
This workshop will describe OPC and present its applications and the skills necessary to troubleshoot OPC problems.
It is to be presented by John Lawrence B.Sc (Hons) M.Sc B.Com (Hons).
John has distinguished himself with excellent reviews from his courses in the communications and IT areas.
He has 20 years of experience working as a project and departmental manager for a large multinational oil company.
He focussed on designing and then managing the overall architecture and infrastructure of the wireless, telecommunications, data communications and IT systems.
And then latterly, during the past 5 years, he has worked extensively for a number of multinational industrial and commercial clients managing a variety of corporate relocations and restructuring of their IT and communications infrastructure.
The last workshop in February is 'Practical Industrial Flow Measurement for Engineers and Technicians', a 1 day course, to be run in Cardiff on 10 February, in Manchester on the 15th and in Edinburgh on the 22nd.
The existing technologies in flow measurement will be presented, together with the skills needed to specify and design flow measurement systems and troubleshoot and install flow instrumentation systems.
