IDC Technologies is presenting a practical 2 day workshop on programmable logic controllers (PLCs) for automation and process control in Manchester on the 9 - 10 November, in London on the 20 - 21st and in Cardiff 23 - 24th.

The workshop is designed to benefit attendees with content ranging from practical up-to-date information on the application of PLCs through to the automation and process control of plants and factories.

It is suitable for people who have little or no exposure to PLCs, but expect to become involved in some or all aspects of PLC installation.

The information contained in this workshop advances from the basics to challenge even the most experienced engineer in the industry today.

During the 2 day workshop delegates will be assisted to plan, programme and install PLCs confidently and efficiently.

The accompanying manual includes contributions from a number of experts and will become a valuable reference document for delegates in their work.

Harvey Dearden, the instructor for the workshop, has over 30 years experience in the process industries and is known for his expertise in process measurement, control and management.

He is an engaging speaker who strives to establish a real understanding of lasting value to his audience.
