This simple monochrome display has four function keys, an integrated numeric keypad and navigation keys.
It also supports black and white bitmap (BMP) images with a maximum size of 128 x 64 pixels.
The other additions are HG1X 2 line and 4 line displays in 24vdc models.
These new models are more flexible and now support both RS232 and RS485 communications.
Other recent additions are the HGF 10.4inch and 12.1inch colour touchscreens.
With resolutions of 640 x 480 and 800 x 600 pixels respectively, RS232C/RS485/RS422/Ethernet ports and a compact flash card for alarm and trend logging, they are well suited for those larger applications.
The IDEC commitment to HMI is emphasized by the continual additions to this family series.
The touchscreens are programmed from the same software package which includes many drivers for other manufacturers PLCs.
Options are two, four and eight line text displays, 24 and 5vdc powered direct from the PLC, 4 inch, 5.5 inch, 10.4 inch and 12.1 inch graphic touchscreens with all port options to connect to IDEC and other manufacturers PLCs.
