IDEC Electronics have delivered their best sales performance since opening for trading in 1987, so it is time to recognise and thank the efforts of our UK distributors in sales and customer support

IDEC Electronics have delivered their best sales performance since opening for trading in 1987, so it is time to recognise and thank the efforts of our UK distributors in sales and customer support.

A trio of awards were developed to recognise different levels of achievement including highest turnover, largest increase in business and best new comer.

Firstly, in recognition for maintaining their position of highest turnover, MGB Electrical was presented with the "TOP distributor" award.

MGB Electrical is a privately owned company which prides itself on a friendly and knowledgeable approach to its customers.

They have their Headquarters in Tring, Buckinghamshire and also a sales office located in Sutton, Surrey.

Grace Tipson, MGB Managing Director, said "We also acknowledge the importance of service and do our utmost to ensure our customers receive deliveries on time.

We have 2 specialist areas, distribution of industrial electrical control products and also engineering services".

With everyone chasing new business it was a pleasure to present the team at TLA Distribution with the "Best growth" award.

Founded in 1998, TLA focus their sales effort on the motor control market and associated equipment.

Tim Leverton, Managing Director, puts the positive company result down the "Execution of a successful company ethos, which is to provide the customer with a close personal service ensuring that all TLA sales staff are product aware and have application knowledge".

The final award in our Trio of awards, the "Best Newcomer" award, went to Controls and Automation.

New to the sales channel for IDEC, Controls and Automation are an independent UK based Technical Distributor of control, automation and pneumatic equipment to all industries with their office located in Bristol.

Their Sales Director, Pete Aston, comments that "Our team achieves excellence in both pneumatic and electrical disciplines and therefore are unique in the industry; with our range of abilities we offer fast, accurate and effective solutions to our customers that they can, and do rely on".
