Reducing carbon footprints seminar
The IET Seminar on 'Reducing the Carbon Footprint in the Built Environment' will be held in London on 11 December 2007
There are many exciting schemes in development that are looking at the impact of energy demands within buildings and built environments This is particularly relevant to large buildings and building developments that require their own private power network

This event is divided into two separate streams, covering two distinct areas:.
1) EU energy performance: Building technologies associated with the buildings themselves (review the progress towards the EU Energy Performance in Buildings Directive).
2) Renewables in a built environment: The development of renewable energy technologies on a micro level within the built environment and matters such as system connection and metering.
Although the streams will be simultaneous, delegates will be able to attend any part of any stream at any time.
The intellectual property of both streams will be compiled into one proceeding, enabling all the content of both streams to be taken back to the workplace.
