The process industry safety specialists were certified as experts in safety instrumented systems (SIS).
TUV-ASI is part of TUV Rheinland Group, which is widely recognised as a pioneer in developing standards and performance measures for SIS worldwide.
The international standards group documents the safety and quality of new and existing products, systems and services.
"Adamski and McCrea-Steele have proven they possess the technical knowledge in the field of functional safety-related issues and have demonstrated years of real-world experience that clearly indicate they deserve this recognition as experts in the field," said Chris Lyden, for Invensys Process Systems.
"By acknowledging them as the first recipients of this certification, TUV-ASI sets a high standard for individuals who wish to prove their proficiency and expertise in safety instrumented systems for the process industry".
To achieve certification, candidates are expected to meet stringent requirements established by TUV-ASI, which includes a minimum of 10 years of proven experience in the functional safety field and recognition of technical competency by industry peers.
The criteria also requires candidates author several safety-related case studies and hold a degree of higher education in a technical field.
Additional details of the program and a listing of certified TUV functional safety experts are available at www.tuvasi.com.
"Having been acknowledged to have achieved expert status by such a prominently respected industry authority such as TUV-ASI, Premier Consulting Services is in a position to share its experience and knowledge with other companies," said Adamski.
"As we move forward with plans to launch Premier Consulting Service's engineering safety training courses, we will continue our efforts to enhance the efficiency and competitive positioning of plant facilities worldwide".
In cooperation with TUV-ASI, Premier Consulting Services developed a SIS training course that has been accepted as an integral component of the overall TUV functional safety programme.
More information on the Premier Consulting course will be presented later in September.
