Invensys Process Systems is to open its first office in Aberdeen, a significant part of the Invensysy North Sea initiative to support the growing Invensys customer base offshore.

Located adjacent to the Aberdeen Exhibition and Conference Centre, the new Invensys office will provide facilities for service support, engineering, system staging, and strategic sales, as well as a comfortable customer lounge area.

The office will accommodate up to 20 people, with the option to double in size, if required.

Establishing a permanent office in Aberdeen will help Invensys better support its current upstream oil and gas customers in the UKCS region and demonstrates the company commitment to develop its upstream business.

The official opening is planned for March 2007.
