PI flush-mount pressure sensors are
hygienic

The newest pressure switches from market leader ifm electronic are best summed up as tough but accurate, featuring a flush sensor face for aseptic processes

The newest pressure switches from market leader ifm electronic are best summed up as tough but accurate These new versions feature a flush sensor for aseptic processes

The new housing design packs in a host of improvements from electronic temperature compensation, improved signal evaluation giving an overall accuracy 0.2% as well as a maintenance-free high-purity (AI2O3, 99.9 %) ceramic cell that doesn't drift and doesn't need an elastomer O-Ring.

Instead a cleverly mounted PTFE-seal ensures there is no dead space.

The new units will work in an ambient temperature of -25 to 80 C monitoring medium temperatures between -25 to 125 C and can even withstand continuous fluid as high as +145C for periods of up to one hour, making them ideal for installations where steam or hot liquids are used for cleaning and sterilisation.

Available with measuring range -1 to 100 bar they also come with a modular process connection using the Aseptoflex concept, so they will fit to most processes quickly and easily.

ifm electronic PI pressure sensors provide a measuring signal of either 0 to 10 V or 4 to 20 mA scalable via the pushbuttons.

There's also a programmable switched output available.

Optionally, the settings and values can be accessed and displayed via your PC.

The device also has its own display, consisting of a four-digit LED display of values and units (bar/mbar, kPa/Mpa, psi or percent).

Naturally all PI series sensors are certificated by EHEDG and built to 3A standards. Request a free brochure from IFM Electronic ...
