Sensor market leader ifm electronic are proud to annouce their participation in this year's WaterAid - Six Peaks Challenge.

ifm supplies one of the widest ranges of sensors for position and process control, complemented by a huge selection of connection possibilities, from connecting cable to AS-interface systems.

The challenge will take place from Friday 7th - Monday 10th July, aiming to visit the summits of the highest peaks of the six regions of the British Isles while raising money for WaterAid.

Water is essential for life, yet 1.1 billion people in the world do not have access to safe water.

WaterAid, with its partners, uses practical, sustainable solutions to provide safe water to the world's poorest people.

Our team of eight and other entrants will have 50 miles to walk, 20,000 feet to climb, 1,000 miles to drive and two sea crossings - all within 72 hours.

We wish the ifm electronic team and all the other participants the very best of luck.
