Temperature probe for hygienic
installations

For food and pharmaceutical processes the new TM series temperature probes are designed to use the 'aseptoflex' mounting system, allowing the probe to be fitted using a choice of hygienic fitting

Because cleanliness is critical in food and pharmaceutical processes for variables such as temperature, the new TM series temperature probes from sensor market leader ifm electronic are designed to use the aseptoflex mounting system, itself recently introduced by ifm, which allows the probe to be fitted using a choice of hygienic fitting Designed to detect a temperature range of -40 to +150C the new TM series probes incorporate class A Pt 1000 elements in food-grade stainless steel housings of different lengths

Stainless steel need not be a disadvantage, as a unit with fast response is also included in the range.

The integrated adapter thread enables hygienic connection to all common process adapters.

The shape of the probe and the high temperature range allow use of cleaning (CIP) and sterilisation (SIP) routines when mounted.

Used in conjunction with the ifm electronic TR series of controllers, the temperature monitoring system offers the user hygienic installation in their choice of fitting, with many display and output options.

The completely closed and welded high-grade stainless steel housing guarantees protection rating IP69K.

The selected design reduces the build-up of dirt and can be cleaned on all sides.

ifm supplies one of the widest ranges of sensors for position and process control, complemented by a huge selection of connection possibilities, from connecting cable to AS-interface systems.

ifm is committed to working closely with its customers to develop products which precisely match their needs, and the company provides expert, readily accessible technical support to help users maximise the benefits they gain from ifm products. Request a free brochure from IFM Electronic ...
