IFM launches PS3 submersible pressure transmitters

An IFM Electronic product story
Edited by the Processingtalk editorial team Oct 10, 2008

IFM Electronic has launched the PS3 series of submersible pressure transmitters.

The PS3 series is designed for applications including level measurement in tanks and vessels, wells and boreholes, and wastewater treatment plants.

The range has an analogue output signal of 4-20mA and this, combined with the use of two-wire technology means the PS3 series can be easily integrated into control systems.

The housing and sensor diaphragm are made of stainless steel, and the range has an overall IP68 protection rating.

With available pressure ranges of 0-0.25, 0-0.6 or 0-1 bar levels equivalent of up to 10m of water column can be measured.

An internally vented cable is provided for pressure compensation to atmosphere.

The transmitters are supplied with fixed cable lengths of 3m, 10m or 12m, and optional accessories allow suitable fitting to the measuring location.
