IFM Electronic is offering a TK temperature switch with a longer temperature sensor.

The switching temperature can be set on the bench or during the process.

The Pt1000 element is intended to provide lasting, accurate temperature sensing.

The solid-state device shows two light-emitting diodes (LEDs), which indicate the switching status and readiness for operation.

It features wetted parts in high-grade stainless-steel.

The TK is available in five versions, with a temperature setting range between -25C and +140C (-13F and +284F).

Each version has either two separate switch points with fixed hysteresis or adjustable set and reset points.

The original 25mm-length probes have now been joined by a 255mm-long probe for awkward corners.

Operating voltage is 10VDC to 30VDC and both the outputs can handle 500mA.

The TK series and accessories are claimed to make a suitable alternative to mechanical switches.
