In today's society, Health and Safety is a priority for every workplace and chemical engineering is no exception: the IChemE celebrates 30 years of the Loss Prevention Bulletin with new booklets

In today's society, health and safety is a priority for every workplace and chemical engineering is no exception In 2004, IChemE celebrates the 30th anniversary of their well-regarded journal, the Loss Prevention Bulletin (LPB)

The IChemE health and safety product range will also be given a boost as they launch a new series of booklets and revised training packages.

LPB is a unique publication providing a major source of industrial case studies and practical articles.

It offers an invaluable source of reference material on a wide range of situations and allows readers the opportunity to learn from the experience of others.

In December LPB will take a look back over the last thirty years for a special commemorative issue to mark its anniversary.

The IChemE catalogue of health and safety products will expand as they form a new partnership with BP, in an exciting venture.

IChemE will now publish and distribute BP's popular health and safety series "Sharing the Experience".

Each of the sixteen booklets summarise experiences of incidents in the refining industry.

Continuing the focus on health and safety, IChemE will also shortly release four revised training packages including "Fires and Explosions" and "Practical Risk Assessment".

Supplied on CD ROM, they will include the latest legislation and developments.

Each package will provide a high quality and cost-effective training solution with the flexibility to adapt the training to suit a company's needs.

As release dates are confirmed more information on all of the above products will be issued in due course.
