The Institution of Chemical Engineers Australia has announced that its Melbourne office will move to 488 Bourke St in the Central Business District, on Monday 2nd October 2006.

These new premises will provide more modern office facilities for its Australian operation.

IChemE will join some of Australia's largest corporations in the CBD, including the National Bank, the Commonwealth Bank and the Shell Group.

IChemE Australia Executive Director, Jan Althorp said, "We are pleased to move to a place that will help IChemE grow its operations in Australia.

The Institution is committed to giving our members an excellent service.

This new office is easier to find and will provide a more professional set up to manage our member services".

During the relocation, the Melbourne office staff will maintain email contact but there will be some disruptions to phone services.

IChemE Australia will strive to minimise these disruptions and resume normal services as quickly as possible.

The full address of the new office will be Suite 11-2 / 488 Bourke St, Melbourne, VIC 3000 Australia.

New telephone and fax numbers will be allocated and announced in the upcoming weeks.
