Intellitect to show logging sonde at WWEM

An Intellitect product story
Edited by the Processingtalk editorial team Sep 30, 2008

Intellitect Water will exhibit the Intellisonde in-pipe, chlorine detection, 12-parameter logging sonde at WWEM 2008 on 5 and 6 November in Telford.

It will also show the Intellisonde SA, the short application version of the same product for low- cost and short-term deployment in boundary boxes.

Both products are able to accurately measure active and free chlorine in the pipe without reagents, membranes or waste discharge, even at low levels of chlorine at the end of the pipe network, using solid-state measuring technology.

The compact instrumentation is able to measure colour, turbidity, flow, dissolved oxygen, conductivity, pH, active chlorine, free chlorine and temperature simultaneously, among other parameters.

Each sonde can log data at selected intervals, and when the logged parameter is outside set threshold levels, an alarm can be sent over GPRS, either as text or email to alert management to water quality or other issues.
