Safety-related databuses: Making wiring
redundant?
There are still some places available at the above one day conference, which will be held on 22 May, organised by the Safety Panel of the Institute of Measurement and Control
This conference is part of a series being planned by the Safety Panel to explore aspects of the implementation of IEC 61508, IEC 61511 and other related standards Many safety related systems are still based on dedicated hardwired systems; the use of networks or shared bus communications has not yet become widely accepted

Who should attend? - Anyone who is a potential user and/or supplier, who may need an understanding of the function and capability of safety-related databuses.
