IMO Precision Controls, the leading automation and control specialist, has introduced a new family of DIN rail mounting fibre optic sensors

IMO Precision Controls, the leading automation and control specialist, has introduced a new family of DIN rail mounting fibre optic sensors The FX family features a digital "Teach In" sensitivity adjustment in the FX4 and a multi-turn potentiometer adjustment in the FX3 series

The new fibre optic sensors offer a fast output response with a pulse stretcher for better integration with the control system in high-speed assembly/production applications.

The FX family has a standard operating voltage of 10 to 30Vdc and with an output switching capacity of 200mA; the FX series will interface to virtually any circuit type.

The FX series has an operating temperature of -25 to 80 C allowing the sensor to be used in food and pharmaceutical applications.

The FX series has an ultra thin 10mm housing which means higher density per DIN rail saving vital space and cost.

Fibre depending, the sensing range is between 20mm and 200mm giving flexibility and choice in the positioning of the sensing head.

The FX series is UL and CUL approved and as with all IMO sensor products comes with a three-year warranty.
