IMS Research market analyst and report author Mark Watson commented: "Space constraints are passed on from the machine builder to industrial PC suppliers who are required to supply products which are physically smaller but have a similar level of processing power.
This includes visualisation and control capabilities".
IMS Research forecasts that the EMEA market for industrial PCs will increase to over Euro740 million by 2010, experiencing a CAGR of 8%.
The sector for embedded industrial PCs is estimated to account for approximately 13.8% of the EMEA market in 2005 with this expected to increase to just under 18% by 2010.
