MTEC 2008 to see multiple launches from IMC

An IMC Group product story
Edited by the Processingtalk editorial team Nov 29, 2007

The IMC Group, formed in 2007 by the amalgamation of Lamerholm Electronics , Hanwell Instruments and Jekyll Electronic Technology, will be showing a host of new products at Mtec 2008

On display will be the comprehensive range of IMC Group products for industrial measurement and control, including the new ELMO energy monitoring system and Tel2 industrial modem ranges from Jekyll and a working demonstration of the new Evolution wireless signal conditioner from Hanwell.

For the first time in the UK, Lamerholm will show one of its new Glacier industrial computers, ideal for use in harsh factory conditions.

And that's not all.

A new range of alarm auto-diallers will also be launched.

These are the first products to be developed using the extensive expertise of all three companies in the IMC Group.

Within three months of the merger, the first new product, FloodWatch, was designed, built, tested and on the market.

FloodWatch is a wireless telemetry system that alerts nominated individuals via SMS messaging should particular areas become flooded.

Immediate action can then be taken to avoid expensive damage.

Other products in the Watch range include TrailerWatch for preventative maintenance of haulage fleets, FlexiWatch a time and attendance monitoring system and AlarmWatch an innovative system alerting laboratory managers or maintenance personnel when the inside temperature of a fridge or freezer rises above a pre-set temperature.

And it's not just off-the-shelf products; the design teams from Jekyll, Lamerholm and Hanwell can provide bespoke solutions for a variety of applications.

Products manufactured by the three companies include telemetry solutions, shipping and handling monitors, dataloggers and humidity control.

Representatives from each company will be available on the stand at MTEC (stand 1315) to discuss individual requirements and applications.

MTEC is from 13-14 February 2008 at the NEC.
