At a cost-effective price, the TempCheck Plus measures the infrared radiation emitted by an object and uses this to calculate surface temperature.
Its most important feature is its ability to easily measure the temperature of a component without having to touch its surface.
This means the operator can safely assess the temperature of a part whether it be - 32C to 530C.
Once in use, the thermometer will accurately sense hot and cold locations within 0.3 seconds.
The TempCheck Plus has a consistent measurement spot of 13mm at any distance up to 140mm.
The tool is intended to help the owner detect when a component or bearing is too hot, helping to ensure its care and long life span.
Another benefit of the TempCheck Plus is that it will detect high temperatures before damage is caused and prevents long and unplanned downtime.
If there is a problem, the user will be warned by an adjustable visual and acoustic alarm.
Monitoring temperatures also has the added benefit of improving worker safety from potentially dangerous accidents.
The thermometer's light and easy to use design means it can be taken practically anywhere and used in industry, manual work or every day use.
Other features of the TempCheck Plus include an adjustable emission level of 0.1 -1.0; a high optical resolution of 20:1; and an annealed high precision glass optic for precise non-contact temperature measurement.
