Inertial Aerosystems announce a new range of triaxial analogue accelerometers with ranges from +/-2g to 400g, ideal for monitoring of shock in transit for delicate cargo containers or waste vessels

Inertial Aerosystems announce a new range of triaxial analogue accelerometers with ranges from +/-2g to 400g.

When used with a digital oscilloscope, virtual oscilloscope/PC or most data loggers, 3 axes of orthogonal acceleration can be recorded and displayed.

Small volume, low noise and high non-operating shock make these units ideal for the analysis of impact safety testing and quality control of consumer goods, eg childrens toys.

Other features include 3 axis single ended outputs of 0 to 5V DC for full scale, simple 6-wire power and I/O interface, and an operating temperature range of -55 to +125C.

Other applications in health and safety include recording damage to goods in transit, monitoring for jamming of conveyer belts and lifts, and monitoring of hazardous waste vessels.
