Capacitive accelerometer simulates a
bridge output

Inertial Aerosystems announce the availability of a new range of analogue accelerometer modules tailored for zero to medium frequency measurements, insensitive to variations in excitation voltage

Inertial Aerosystems announce the availability of a new range of analogue accelerometer modules tailored for zero to medium frequency measurements The seven devices in this range have full scale acceleration from +/- 2g to +/-200g with a temperature range of -40 to +85 Degrees C

Designated the 2265 range they are primarily intended to replace piezo-resistive units in existing systems.

Unlike piezo-resistive accelerometers, they are insensitive to variations in excitation voltage, temperature and cable resistance.

Incorporated is a capacitive sensing element and an advanced ASIC to simulate the operation of a piezo-resistive bridge.

They are encapsulated in a rugged aluminium epoxy sealed case with easy mounting in tough environments.

A calibration sheet is provided with each accelerometer.

Applications for this versatile range include crash testing, vibration monitoring and analysis, control systems, robotics and flight testing. Request a free brochure from Inertial Aerosystems UK ...
