New miniature low cost two axis magnetic
sensor

Inertial Aerosystems announce the availability of a new miniature low cost high performance two axis magnetic sensor, for magnetometry and magnetic compass applications

Inertial Aerosystems announce the availability of a new miniature low cost high performance two axis magnetic sensor Designated the HMC1042L, this high quality product is designed for magnetometry and magnetic compass applications, and has a capability of 0.2 degree accuracy

When used with the HMC1041Z, full 3-axis compassing is achievable.

Ideal for where space is at a premium it measures 3mm x 3mm and has a lead free package construction.

Utilising patented anisotropic magnetoresistive technology (AMR) it has many advantages over fluxgate magnetic sensors, such as being extremely sensitive, low field and low hysteresis.

Internal offset correction and set/reset straps eliminate the need for bulky external coils.

This versatile product requires low power such as 1.8V, and is available in tape and reel packaging for high volume ease of assembly.

This innovative product can be used in such diverse products as mobile phones.

GPS receivers, robotics, disability aids and process monitoring.

The HMC1042L has applications in the engineering, electronic, manufacturing, and processing industries. Request a free brochure from Inertial Aerosystems UK ...
