Inertial Aerosystems announce the availability of a new range of PCI 2.2 compliant computer Synchro/Resolver/LVDT I/O cards that are open source Linux compatible

Inertial Aerosystems announce the availability of a new range of PCI 2.2 compliant computer cards manufactured by US based Computer Conversions These innovative products are designed for accurate measurement and simulation uses

Designated the PCI-Syncro series they provide multiple channels of transformer isolated synchro /resolver LVDT / RVDT or absolute encoder interface on a single printed circuit card.

All cards are configured with full plug and play capabilities and are suited to real time applications because there is no PCI-bus latency.

The interface is a solidly reliable, high speed true 32 bit "long word level" register access.

A sample demonstration programme is included, written in visual C++, and provided with a source code, which may be easily modified.

Other driver software includes Labview and Linux which is claimed to be the latest state of the art software open system.

These cost effective products have applications in aerospace, navigation, defence and in high technology areas of manufacturing, where space is at a premium.
