New dual axis Digital Tilt sensor

An Inertial Aerosystems UK product story
Edited by the Processingtalk editorial team Aug 17, 2007

Inertial Aerosystems is the source of an extensive range of tilt sensors, tiltmeters, data logging and signal conditioners which can meet the requirements of virtually any tilt application

The addition of new, lower cost, models includes a versatile line of solid state, digital output, microprocessor controlled and temperature compensated inclinometers with angular ranges from + or -10 degrees to + or -45 degrees.

They have a broad selection of sensitivity, excellent resolution, high resistance to shock and vibration, with selective packaging.

They are ideal for the measurement of ground movement, structural behaviour, or pitch and roll.

Other units include miniature analogue tiltmeters and signal conditioners , where small and lightweight sensors are required for platform monitoring.

Digital tilt sensors with on-board data-logging provide very accurate monitoring of structures and machinery.

Sensitivity up to better than one part in ten million, (100 nanoradians) is achievable.

Special models for synchrotron, vacuum and subsea applications are available.

This range has many applications in monitoring structures in the power industry, process plants, chimneys and building structures, including bridges.
