Extended flow range glass VA flowmeters

Glass tube variable area flowmeters are now available in three tube lengths - long, standard and compact - from Influx Measurements of Winchester

Influx Measurements was formed 3 years ago by several experienced UK flow engineers, to bring some new ideas into the manufacture and production of industrial flow meters.

The Uniflux and Fluxline product ranges are the first results of this cost conscious and innovative mechanical design team.

Fully UK designed and manufactured, and available on short lead times even for custom scaled units, these 100mm and 30mm scale length Uniflux VA meters are fully interchangeable with industry standard types, with 1/4in BSP connections.

The new Uniflux 140mm scale length designs give extended flow ranges, and a turndown of over 30:1, when measuring either gases or liquids.

For installation in unsupported pipework, or panel/wall mounted on the plant, the same glass flow tubes are available in an attractive design of safety housing, with 1/2in or 3/4in BSP connections.

Larger flow rates in line sizes of 1/2in or 3/4in can be measured using the plastic tube Fluxline VA flowmeter, offered in an open frame style to provide a simple, low cost meter.

Options available include flow alarms and customised scales to suit specific process conditions.
