Dosing devices on display from AZO at Interpack
A new generation of dosing devices will be on display from AZO at Interpack 2005, which takes place in Dusseldorf from 21-27 April
A new generation of dosing devices will be on display from AZO at Interpack 2005.
The global leaders in ingredients handling and automation will be welcoming visitors, and UK and Ireland sales agents Ingredient Handling Solutions (IHS) will also be present in Hall 1, Stand F18-F24.
The latest innovation on offer is a special type of dosing system for continuous, gravimetric measuring, named Azodos.
Useful to the food, pharmaceuticals, chemicals and plastics industries which use powdery products or powders with poor-flow characteristics, the system is designed for use in compounding and benefits include.
* Compact feeding into weighing processes.
* Compact design for discharge weighing system.
* Maximum dosing accuracy with coarse/fine flow.
* High-quality double dosing screws with linear dosing function.
* Rust-free, durable chrome-nickel steel construction.
* Easy-clean system for quick component changes.
* The system is extendable through modular design.
* Differential dosing scale (loss-in-weight principle).
* Precise online control and quick correction when deviations occur.
* Absolute weight measurement.
* No misrepresentation through bulk density fluctuations.
* No laborious calibration process.
* Measurement recording with high resolution.
* Control modules for adjustments via a corresponding computer interface.
The Azodos P-DV system is recommended for volumetric dosing with weighing, to feed production processes at a uniform mass flow rate with coarse/fine flow.
The device consists of a hopper, discharge agitator with housing and a double dosing screw.
Compensating couplings on the hopper inlet and screw outlet completely isolate the system.
Loose powdery materials are discharged from the hopper by means of an agitator and fed into the double screws.
The material is then discharged by the automatically controlled double dosing screw and transferred to the subsequent processes in precisely dosed quantities.
The Azodos type P-DW discharge weighing system is used for gravimetric feeding of production processes with precisely weighed minor ingredients.
The device consists of a hopper, a discharge agitator with housing and a double dosing screw.
The entire unit is mounted on a weighing unit.
Compensating joints on the weighing container inlet and screw outlet completely isolate the system.
Powder materials are discharged from the hopper by means of an agitator and fed into the double screws.
The double-dosing screw discharges the material in defined quantities which is precisely measured and recorded by a weighing module.
The Azodos Type P- DDW system uses gravimetric dosing with mass flow control according to the loss-in-weight principle.
Powdery materials are discharged from the hopper by means of an agitator and fed into the double screws.
The automatically controlled double dosing screw discharges the material and the quantity discharged is precisely recorded.
Throughput rate is adapted to the subsequent process by adjustment of the screw speed.
When the filling level in the hopper reaches the maximum value, refilling is requested automatically.
During the brief refill phase, the system continues to operate, controlled by the screw speed and returns to mass flow-dependent automatic control as soon as the refill process has finished.
