Like China, India's growing economy has a healthy manufacturing base and far from equating lower wages with low-tech technologies, these industries are embracing the latest there is to offer.
In particular, machine builders are on the increase, according to figures released from the VDMA which specify an increase of 18 per cent to November 2006.
