The PV Series Flowmeter measures the flow rate of non-hazardous, inert gases with an accuracy of +/-2% of full scale: the meter uses a laminar flow element and achieves a 50:1 turndown

The PV Series Flowmeter measures the flow rate of non-hazardous, inert gases with an accuracy of +/-2% of full scale The standard output is 0-5 VDC; the meter is also available with a 4-20 mA output signal, integral display or remote digital display

The PV Series flowmeter is available with full-scale ranges from 50 CCM to 50 LPM with 50:1 turndown.

All units are supplied with an aluminum body, polycarbonate case and brass compression fittings.

The flow rate is determined by measuring the pressure drop across a laminar flow element.

As gases move through the flow element, the flow becomes laminar; as a result, the flow rate is linearly proportional to any change in pressure.

This creates a highly accurate volumetric flow rate output, which can be displayed or transmitted as an analogue signal.

The major advantage of this technology is no moving parts, which means a long, dependable life for the meter.
