Combining Anhydro (formerly part of the APV group, a subsidiary of Invensys), the Dedert Corporation (including Drytec) and Simatek, the new Group has been created at the initiative of two world authorities in evaporation and drying technology: Ole Andersen, former President of GEA Niro (78-97) and York International (97-02), who becomes the chairman of the new Anhydro Group; and Per Jespersen, former Managing Director of APV Anhydro A/S (88-97) and President of the Toftejorg Group (98-03), who becomes CEO.
The APV group has been and will remain a critical contributor to the development of this world-leading industry specialist.
Simultaneous with the transfer of Anhydro to the Anhydro Group, APV and the new business entered into a Strategic Co-operation Agreement to ensure superior technology development and customer project execution.

About the businesses of the Anhydro Group: Anhydro A/S, established in 1948, is a leading company in the design and supply of evaporation and drying solutions to the dairy, food, chemical, pharmaceutical and environmental industries.
Anhydro is based in Copenhagen, Denmark and has 100 employees.
The Dedert Corporation, established in 1968, is a world leader in evaporation, drying, dewatering and liquid filtration in the starch, alcohol and food industries.
It has 195 employees and consists of the Dedert Corporation in Olympia Fields, Illinois, USA; Drytec (US) Ltd; Drytec Contract Processing Ltd in the UK; Vetter Maschinenfabrik GmbH and Co KG Kassel in Germany; and LFC Lochem BV in the Netherlands.
Simatek A/S, established in 1981, is a world leader within air and process air filtration to the dairy, food, starch and alcohol, chemical, pharmaceutical and environmental industries.
Simatek employs 95 people and is also based in Denmark.
The new business will be headquartered in Copenhagen, Denmark, trading under the name of the Anhydro Group.
Investors in the Group are CapMan, a private equity investor in Nordic based companies, and a management investor group led by Ole Andersen and Per Jespersen.
