The Institute of Acoustics will be holding two workshops on the consultation about proposals for transposition and implementation of the Environmental Noise Directive
Institute of Acoustics to hold Workshops: "Does the END Justify the Means?" The Institute of Acoustics will be holding two workshops on the consultation on proposals for transposition and implementation of the Environmental Noise Directive.
The workshops will take place on 14 April at RIBA in London and on 28 April at the Arden Hotel, Birmingham.
Towards the end of February, DEFRA published a consultation document regarding the transposition and implementation of Directive 2002/49/EC on the Assessment and Management of Environmental Noise - the Environmental Noise Directive.
These two workshops will provide an opportunity for delegates to hear about the Directive and to discuss the issues.
The outcome of the discussions will go towards formulating the IOA response to the consultation document.
