InduSoft and Protia partner to offer real-time manufacturing performance management solution to extend the value of real-time automation

InduSoft Web Studio Integrates With Protia Strategic Line of Sight to offer enterprise performance solutions and extend the value of real-time automation InduSoft LLC and Protia today announced a partnership to integrate InduSoft Web Studio (IWS) industrial automation software with Protia Strategic Line of Sight performance management software

This integration will provide customers with a powerful, easy-to-use interface for visualising and driving improvements in manufacturing performance.

InduSoft Web Studio is a powerful collection of automation tools that includes all the building blocks needed to develop human machine interfaces (HMIs), supervisory control and data acquisition (SCADA) systems, and embedded instrumentation and control applications.

IWS manages workstations; monitors, debugs, and updates software remotely; and accesses real-time, dynamic graphic screens, trends, alarms, reports, and recipes online all via a web browser.

Protia Strategic Line of Sight (SLOS) web-based performance management software converts InduSoft measurement data - temperatures, flows, pressures, compositions, etc - into key performance indicators such as unit utilisation, yield or efficiency, percent utilisation and inventory costs.

This information is then made available for operational planning, scorecards, dashboards, trend graphing, threshold alerts and Six Sigma portfolio analysis.

The relationship between InduSoft and Protia offers customers a real-time performance management solution that provides integration to other sources of data relevant to achieving Enterprise Performance Management.

Benefits include faster speed to resolution, improved inter-plant/inter-company collaboration, and opportunities for cross-plant analysis.
